Our story
We are a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to bringing comfort to residents of senior / nursing homes and more. Our volunteers not only bring stuffed animals to the residents but they also bring their presence, their companionship, their love and time, to spend with seniors. Our mission is to take the feeling of loneliness and sadness away, and to replace it with the feeling of comfort, safety, happiness and joy. We want to reach as many senior homes, nursing homes, hospitals and hospices as we can.

Donate your gently used stuffed animals to Katie's Ark. We will give them the purpose of bringing love and comfort to a resident in a nursing or senior home.

The Troy Target store in collaboration with other Target stores from the district, donated us a cart full of brand new stuffed animals!
We are so grateful for your generosity and kindness. These stuffed animals will help the seniors in our community find comfort and a little friend. And our volunteers get to spend time and talk with the seniors, while visiting them. Thank you Target!
Visiting Seniors on a colorful, warm September day
Thank you Cedarbrook of Rochester Hills, for allowing us to visit and bring little companions to some of your residents. We had a very pleasant time and we are so happy to have brought smiles to those we met. Hope to be back soon!
Visiting Sunrise Senior Living in Bloomfield Hills on the coldest day in January, in Michigan
The cold did not stop us to load up our little red wagon with dozens of stuffed animals and go into the senior home and visit, hang out, talk and bring a stuffed friend to residents at this beautiful senior living facility. I love seeing their smiles when I hand over a little friend, that I know, will bring them joy, comfort and companionship.
